Roles and permissions
A role is a named set of permissions. A permission is what opens a screen or a write.
A person does not get access one screen at a time. They are given a role, and the role holds the permissions. core.company.view lets someone open companies. core.company.create lets them add one. A how-to names the permission when the screen will not open without it.
Roles are the firm’s. Two firms on Capsure can name a role “Deal team” and mean different things. The permission keys are Capsure’s, and they do not change when a firm renames a role.
