Move a deal stage

Before you start

You need permission to manage deals (investments.deal.manage). Stages, and the order of stages, are the firm’s. The menu names the next stage in your firm’s words, not a fixed Capsure list. Custom fields and required checks can stop a move until they are filled. This page cannot list those checks.

Steps

1. In the sidebar, click Dealflow, then Pipeline.
2. Find the deal card in its current column.
3. Open the card menu (the … on the card).
4. Click Move to, followed by the next stage name.

The card moves to that column. The same action is on the deal row in Deals, under the row menu.

Moving back, completing, or recording an investment committee decision are separate actions. Move to only advances to the next stage.
